Today you're getting 2 blog posts because I really wanted to share what arrived last night in the mail!  My December BoxyCharm box arrived and I am ABSOLUTELY EXCITED!  THIS is what subscription boxes should be like!

Happy December 10th!!!

Only 15 more days until the big day.  I've considered many times to wait to have Christmas until AFTER the holiday to get gifts at a fraction of the price when all the stores are in a mad rush to get rid of the Christmas items in preparation for Valentine's day.  💜  I haven't done that yet, but it's a possibility for the future!! LOL




Today's review is on the Kat Von D liquid lipstick Lolitta.............

Right now this is my ride or die liquid lipstick!!

I put on a layer of lip liner by Rimmel in the color 018 Addiction... all over my lips before putting on the liquid lipstick.

These 2 colors go together beautifully and the combination doesn't leave my lips feeling dry at all.  I feel as though the color goes with most anything.  It's my lips but better!! 😁 👄

I know this lipstick is sold out a lot of the time due to it's popularity, but if you have a chance to get it, go for it!  It's a beautiful chestnut rose that looks great on most anyone!

L'Oreal Pro Glow Foundation.........

Now.............. Please don't get me wrong.  I LOVE many L'Oreal products and I REALLY wanted to love this foundation.  Alas.......... I DO NOT........ 😔

This is the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation.  The original formulation of this foundation was a no go for me as well.  The original was very drying on my skin and just didn't work.

I was so excited when the Pro-Glow formula came out!  I thought, FINALLY!  This will be more moisturizing for my skin and not drying.

I tried it for a couple of weeks and was thinking I was liking it at first.  Then I noticed my face began breaking out.  I rarely break out anymore, so initially I wondered what was happening.  I was watching a review from Tati on YouTube.  She remarked that this foundation was making her break out.  It was one of those 'duh' moments for me! LOL  I thought, THAT'S got to be my issue, so I discontinued using it and sure enough, my face cleared up.

I'm not quite sure what's in the ingredients of this product that began making me break out, but I've learned the hard way that this formulation is a no go for me as well. 😥

Their powder, on the other hand, is a true winner for me!

In my opinion, this powder makes my skin look amazing!  It also keeps me matte and I appreciate that.  It's definitely a thumbs up from me!  👍

Milani Christmas.......

Happy December 8th!

It's a Milani Christmas!

I've been wanting to try this Milani 2 in 1 Conceal + Perfect Foundation since it first came out.  I finally gave it a go and LOVE it!  If you're looking for a light coverage foundation, this one is NOT for you.  It's more of a full-coverage foundation.

In all truth and honesty, I purchased the wrong shade for my skin.  It has quite a bit of yellow in it, but I've made it work.  I'll be getting a shade that's more suitable for me.

The packaging is GREAT!  It's in a glass bottle with a pump.  Personally, I feel that any foundation that is packaged in a glass bottle is a better product just because it's not absorbing anything from plastic packaging.   It's probably just my mind, but that's my feeling.

I know that some people aren't a fan of this foundation, but for my skin, it's great.  I'm kind of combination skin.  I'm oily in my T zone and drier on my cheeks.  Whatever it consists of, it works well for me.

If you have an opportunity to try it, please do.  It's not expensive (around $10) and doesn't make me break out like another foundation I tried.  That will be in tomorrow's blog.

Don't let the inexpensive price fool you.  The colors in this palette are awesome.  they are so pigmented and last all day.  Believe me..... you WON'T regret this purchase!! 😁

Merry Christmas ~ December 2016

Merry Christmas Month! 

I've got so many products to review, so I need to get going and let you know all the things I'm trying!

I'll do one or two per day each day until Christmas.  

I've wanted to try the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray and I've finally purchased it.  I've been using it for about a month.  I wasn't sure what all the hype was about, but now that I've had a chance to use it myself, I can see why.  It truly DOES keep my makeup set all day.  I love the fine mist from the pump.  AND, besides the great product itself, I LOVE the color of the packaging.  Purple is one of my favorites and it makes me happy seeing it on my makeup vanity.  It's one of the small things that makes me smile.

What makes you smile?  Ask yourself what that is and be sure to smile today.  

Please find something to enjoy in the days leading up to Christmas.  Don't let the holiday overwhelm you.  We sometimes forget the true reason for the season and get too caught up in the hub bub of it all.
